Lauki Chana Dal Recipe, Dudhi Chane ki Sabzi, Bottle Gourd chickpea Lentil Vegetable.



A combination of Bottle Gourd chickpea Lentil Vegetable makes a delicious, nutritious dish. This is a common recipe popular in Indian families.

Ingredients:

  • Bottle Gourd(Lauki)- Chopped pieces(madhyam chhote kate hue tukade). 
  • Chickpea Lentil(Chane ki dal) - 1/2 cup. 
  • Tomato - 1/2 cup. 
  • Garlic(Lahasun) - 1 teaspoon chopped in small pieces. 
  • Turmeric(Haldi) - 1 teaspoon, 
  • Oil - 1 TABLESPOON, 
  • Cumin(Jeera) - 1/2 teaspoon 
  • Mustard-Rye-(Raai) - 1/2 tsp 
  • Asafoetida(Hing) - 1/4 teaspoon. 
  • Cayenne pepper(Red Chili)Powder(Lal Mirch Powder) - 1 teaspoon. 
  • Powder of coriander and Cumin(Dhaniya Jeera powder) - 1/2 teaspoon. 
  • Green Coriander(Hara Dhaniya barik kata Hua) - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped. 
  • Salt : as per taste. 

Method: 


  1. Soak the chickpeas in 1 cup of water for 1 hour. 
  2. Wash the gourd, and peel it off and cut it into pieces. 
  3. Heat the oil in a pressure cooker and add the mustard and cumin seeds. 
  4. When the mustard and cumin get heated well, add Garlic and brown for a while. 
  5. Add sliced ​Tomato in the cooker and let it cook for a while. 
  6. Add Chickpeas and Gourd pieces and let it cook for a few minutes. 
  7. Add Turmeric, Red Chili Powder, Coriander-Cumin Powder, and salt, and mix well. 
  8. First, close the lid of the cooker and waits for 2-3 whistles. 
  9. Then boil excess water with the lead open till the vegetable is ready. 
  10. The vegetable of Gourd-Chickpea Dal is ready.

  1. Chana dal ko 1 kap paanee mein 1 ghante ke lie bhigo den. 
  2. Laukee ko dho len, aur ise chheel kar tukadon mein kaat len. 
  3. Pressure cooker mein Oil garam karen aur usamein raee aur jeera daalen. 
  4. Jab Raee aur Jeera achchhee tarah se garm ho jaye to Lahasun daal kar lal hone tak garam karein. 
  5. Fir kata hua Tamaatar daalen aur thodee der tak pakane den. 
  6. Chana dal aur Laukee ke tukade daalen aur ise kuchh minute ke liye pakane den. 
  7. Fir Haldee, Lal Mirch Powder, Dhaniya-Jeera Powder aur Namak daalen aur achchhee tarah milayen.
  8. Sabase pahale cooker ka dhakkan bandh karein aur 2-3 seetee bajane tak pakane de. 
  9. Phir dhakkan khula rakh kar atirikt pani ko sabzi taiyyar hone tak ubaale ke jalaa de. 
  10. Laukee-Chana Dal kee sabjee taiyaar hai.
