Making Dahi vada or Dahi pakora is absolutely easy. It gets ready quickly and the children like it very much. 

दही वड़ा या दही पकोड़ा बनाना बिल्कुल आसान है. जल्दी तैयार हो जाता है और बच्चो को बहुत पसन्द आने वाला नास्ता है.

Dahi Vada Recipe: How to Make Dahi Vada | Pakora.

 Here is the method of making curd vada:

यहाँ पेश है दही वड़ा बनाने की विधी: 


Ingredients:

  • Urad dal: 1/2 kg.
  • Mung Dal 1/2 kg.
  • A pinch of baking soda.
  • A small piece of ginger.
  • Black pepper powder: 1/2 teaspoon.
  • Chopped green chilies two pieces.
  • Chipped coconut four tablespoons.
  • Red chili powder 1/2 spoon.
  • Cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon.
  • Curd 2 cups
  • Sugar 1 tsp,
  • coriander leaves.

Method: 

  1. Soak both the lentils for 4-5 hours.
  2. Remove the skins and grind them in a mixer to make a paste.
  3. Add the coconut pulp, green chopped chilies, baking soda, ginger, and salt to the paste of the lentils.
  4. Heat the oil in a kadhai and make a round shape of paste and fry until it turns into golden color.
  5. Take out the fried vada from the pan and keep it in lukewarm water.
  6. When the vadas become soft, squeeze the water out by pressing between the palms.
  7. Then dip these vadas in the curd and sprinkle cumin powder, red chili powder, coriander leaves, black salt.
  8. Dahi vada urf Dahi pakora is ready to serve.

Note:

  • If you like, sugar can be added to the curd.
  • You can also take tamarind chutaney.

Hindi:

  1. दोनों दाल को 4-5 घंटे के लिए भिगो दें।
  2. छिलके निकालें और एक पेस्ट बनाने के लिए मिक्सर में पीस लें।
  3. दाल के पेस्ट में नारियल का गूदा, हरी कटी हुई मिर्च, बेकिंग सोडा, अदरक, और नमक मिलाएं।
  4. कढ़ाही में तेल गर्म करें और पेस्ट का गोल आकार दें और इसे सुनहरा रंग होने तक भूनें।
  5. तले हुए वड़े को तवे से उतार लें और गुनगुने पानी में रखें।
  6. जब वड़े नरम हो जाएं, तो हथेलियों के बीच दबाकर पानी को निचोड़ लें।
  7. फिर इन वड़ों को दहीं में डुबोएं और जीरा पाउडर, लाल मिर्च पाउडर, धनिया पत्ती, काला नमक छिड़कें।
  8. दहीं वड़ा उर्फ दहीं पकोडा तैयार है।

ध्यान दें:

  • आप चाहें तो दही में चीनी मिला सकते हैं।
  • आप इमली की चटनी भी ले सकते हैं।
