Nothing is a better drink than hot spicy milk in the winter season, so drinking it with the added spices in the morning is better relief in the coolness of winter morning. Spicy milk is healthier in the cool seasons of winter and monsoon. It enhances immunity against the cold. So there are two recipes for spice milk for your family.

[1] Recipe For Dry Fruit Spicy Milk.


  • 1/2 cup of Almonds.
  • A cup of Cashew nuts.
  • A cup of peeled Pistachios.
  • 15 to 20 small Cardamoms.
  • 1 tbsp Powder of Nutmeg.
  • 2 teaspoons black Pepper.
  • 1 tbsp of Saffron strands.
  • 3 tsp Fennel.
  • 2 tsp of dried Pumpkin seeds.
  • 3 tbsp dry Rose leaves.
  • 1 tbsp Turmeric powder.


  1. Heat a pan on the gas. Add Almonds, Pistachios, Cashews, and Pumpkin seeds, and roast on medium heat to evaporate the water. Take them out on a plate and let the dry fruits cool down.
  2. Then, grind the roasted dry fruits with rose leaves, fennel, black pepper, mace, turmeric, and cardamom to make a powder.
  3. Then regrind all the ingredients at high speed for finer powder.
  4. Take out this spices powder in a bowl and add saffron to it.

A nutritious spice powder for milk is ready. Fill it in an airtight container and keep it in the fridge. Whenever you want to drink milk, mix one or two teaspoons of spice powder and sugar or honey in a glass of hot or cold milk and make the whole family healthy by consuming it.

[2] Recipe For Ginger Spicy Milk.


  • A bowl of Almonds.
  • A bowl of Cashew nuts.
  • Pistachios - 2 tsp.
  • Dry ginger powder - a tbsp.
  • Cardamom - 6 (Take out the seeds).
  • Strands of Saffron - One tbsp.
  • Powder of Nutmeg - 1 tbsp,
  • Sugar - Two tbsp or as per taste,


  1. Add almonds, cashews, and pistachios to a pan, and heat on a low flame until the water evaporates from them. Don't roast completely.
  2. Then let all the dry fruits cool down, and add dry ginger powder, cardamom seeds, saffron strands, and nutmeg powder, and make a crisp powder in the grinder. Don't operate the grinder continuously but use an on-off switch instead.
  3. To store the powder, fill it in an airtight jar.

How to make spicy milk?

Take about 125 milligrams of milk. Add one and a half teaspoons of spice powder. Add one teaspoon of sugar, and boil it on a low flame. Drink milk when only hot. It's a delicious best drink for kids.
