The Right Way To Make Tea| A standard Recipe Of Tea|

The authentic method of making tea.
Courtsey: PIXABAY. - The authentic method to make tea.

The most consumed drinks globally are tea and coffee (non-alcoholic beverages). There are many different recipes for tea and coffee, and supplementary ingredients like ginger, clove, cardamom, mint, jaggery, honey, and cream, can be added as per preference.
Here is a popular and standard recipe for making tea, which is the authentic way of making tea. This tea is beneficial for health.

Generally, four essential ingredients are necessary to prepare a tea:

  • Tea leaves.
  • Sugar/sugar cubes/powder. ( Don't use in case if diabetic)
  • Milk.
  • Water.

The supplementary ingredients which make tea more delicious and healthy:

  • Ginger.
  • Clove.
  • Cardamom.
  • Mint.
  • Lemon.
  • Honey.
  • Jaggery or powder of it.
  • Cream.
  • pinch of salt( some people prefer to use it along with or instead of sugar)

Recipe to make a @90ml. tea is here:

  1. Pour a large cup((100 to 120 ml.) of water into a vessel,
  2. Add one or two tsp of sugar, one crushed piece of ginger, and three cardamoms, and boil the water at a high temperature.
  3. Then add just four tsp of milk, not more, into it. Adding more milk is another mistake apart from over boiling, which needs more sugars and ruins the original brewing taste of tea leaves.
  4. After adding milk, reboil the mix on medium heat.
  5. At last, add tea leaves (one tsp would be enough), cover the pan, and switch the gas off. Don't take off the pan from the gas before five minutes. Then stir the mix four to five times by moving the pan in a circular motion but slowly.
  6. The tea is ready; garnish with mint if like, and drink at a medium-hot temperature (The habit of drinking the hot tea is harmful to health), with or without bread, biscuit, or anything you prefer.
