How to make Chocolate Walnut Laddoo.
If you love chocolate and nuts, you will love this easy and delicious recipe for chocolate balla (laddu). These bite-sized treats are made with dark chocolate, fresh cream, walnuts, and ghee and have a rich and creamy texture. This sweet is suitable for any occasion, at a party, as a gift, or as a snack. You can make them in advance and store them in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Ingredients of Chocolate Balls:
- 1 cup of walnuts
- 1 cup of dark chocolate
- 1/2 cup of fresh cream
- Some ghee
- Some butter paper
Mathod for Chocolate Balls:
- Chop half of the walnuts finely and grind the other half into a coarse powder. Set aside some walnut powder for later use.
- Cut the chocolate into small pieces and divide it into two equal parts. Keep one part of it aside for later use.
- Heat a pan over low flame and add the fresh cream. When the cream is hot, turn off the heat and add one portion of the chocolate pieces. Stir well until the chocolate melts and forms a smooth ganache.
- Add the chopped walnuts to the ganache and mix well. Refrigerate the mixture for five minutes until it becomes firm enough to shape.
- Grease your palms with some ghee and roll the mixture into small balla (laddu). Place them on a tray lined with butter paper and freeze them for about 15 minutes or until they become firm.
- Melt the remaining portion of the chocolate in a microwave or a double boiler. Dip each ball in the melted chocolate and coat it evenly. Then, enshroud the chocolate balla (laddu) with the walnut powder and place it on the butter paper.
- Refrigerate the chocolate balla (laddu) for another 10 minutes or more to set well.
