How to Make the Best Corn Kebabs at Home?
Corn kebabs are a perfect snack for any occasion. They are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a burst of flavors from corn, paneer, spices, and herbs. You can make them in advance and fry them when you serve. They go well with green chutney or ketchup.
Ingredients
- 1 cup boiled American corn
- 2 - potatoes
- 1/2 cup grated paneer
- 2 tbsp bread crumbs
- 2 tbsp rice flour
- 3 - green chillies
- 1/2 cup red capsicum
- 1 -Q onion
- A small piece of ginger, chopped
- 4 tsp chopped coriander
- 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp amchur powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- A pinch of asafoetida
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Method
- Boil the potatoes and mash them well.
- Chop the corn kernels, green chilies, ginger, and capsicum in a chopper or a food processor.
- Chop the onion finely.
- Mix the chopped vegetables, onion, mashed potatoes, paneer, bread crumbs, rice flour, spices, salt, and coriander. Mix well to form a smooth dough.
- Take a small portion of the dough and shape it into a kebab. Repeat with the rest of the dough.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry the kebabs in batches until golden and crisp on both sides. Drain on paper towels.
