- Cumin(Jeera)Powder-2teaspoons.

- Asafoetida-apinch.
- Cloves(Launga)-4pcs.
- Cardamom(Ilayachi)-4pcs.
- Cinnamon(DalChini)-1smallpc.
- Bayleaf(TejPatta)-2pcs.
- Tomatoes-5pcs.

Method:
- Washallthepourswithwater2-3timesandsoaktheminavesselforawhile.
- Putallthelentilswithwaterandturmeric,saltinthepressurecookerandletitcookonmediumheatfor10to12minutes.
- Ifthelentilsaretoothickthenaddsomewarmwaterandmashthemwellwithatablespoon.
- Heatoilinapan,addcuminpowder,alittleasafetida,dryredchilies,bayleaves,cloves,lentils,cardamom,ginger,greenchilipieces,tomatoesandfrythemwell.
- Oncetomatoesareboiled,addredchilipowderandcookfor1-2minutes.
- Thenaddboileddalmixturetoitandmixitevenlyandcooktillitcomestoaboil.
- Removefromthestoveandaddthejuiceoflimeandgreencoriander.
- Mixdalisready.
