Bakarwadi or Bhakarwadi is a delicious Marathi namakeen(crispy) item, popular in Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Rajasthan. It contains a mixed taste of sweet as well as spicy so that it is very tasty. It is made from gram flour dough along with wheat flour and resin flour(Menda flour). Sometimes coconut or potato used as per the taste along with the poppy seeds, sesame seeds, and other spices. Bhakhaarwadi is always made in a spiral shape and then fried until it gets crispy which can be stored for a long time and can be used readily available refreshment for the guest who visits suddenly.
