Delicious Farali Misal for Fasting|| उपवास के लिए स्वादिष्ट फरियाली मिसाल ||

Missal is the evergreen Maharashtrian dish. The farali misal is very tasty that everyone would like it. It is more delicious when added to Farali Chavda.

Missal is the evergreen Maharashtrian dish. The farali misal is very tasty that everyone would like it. It is more delicious when added to Farali Chavda.

Ingredients for Farali Misal:

  • Raw Peanut - 1/4 cup.
  • Fresh shredded Coconut - 1/4 cup.
  •  boiled and chopped potato - 3/4 cup.
  • Chopped Green coriander - 1/4 cup.
  • Cumin  - 1 teaspoon.
  • Red Chili powder- 1/2 teaspoon.
  • Rock salt - as per taste.
  • Oil - 2 teaspoons.
  • Farali Chevado for Garnishing(Optional).

Method of Farali Misal:

  1. Make a paste of raw peanuts, shredded coconut, and coriander in the grinder; by adding some water.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan and fry cumin then add potato and fry for few minutes.
  3. Add the paste, red chili powder, salt as per taste, and one cup hot water and cook well.
  4. Add the half misal in a serving bowl and spread farali Chevada on it and add other misal and garnish on top with farali chevado.
  5. Farali Misal is ready.
