Litti Chokha is a Bihari dish more popular in villages than the cities, and the taste is so rustic, like the taste of Gujarati dish Ubandiyu. The method of preparation resembles that of the Umbadiyu, though in the city it is being difficult to get Cow dung or cake, so that is prepared on gas or in the oven.
Litti is made of whole wheat flour, stuffed with *Sattu, herbs and spices and baked over coal or cow dung cakes and then finally covered with desi ghee. Also, Dry Litti can be made for those who prefer that.
