Indian Style Recipe For Homemade, Creamy, And Smooth Hummus With Tahini | Can We Name Chickpea Smoothie?

Hummus and Tahiti are middle eastern Cuisines. Use to consume with pita bread, fries, etc.

Hummus is a type of dipmade in Middle Eastern families but is famous worldwide. It use to consume with fried potato chips, pakoras, samosas, sandwiches, and pizza/pita. It is low calorie but energetic item with vitamins and minerals, and very easy to prepare.
Like peanut butter, hummus with Tahiti is also favorite of the young generation.
There are two combinations of the recipe, one Tahiti and another hummus.Tahiti is nothing but the paste of white sesame seed, and hummus is the smooth paste of Chickpeas (garbanzo beans).
Olive oil, instead of other edible oils, is mandatory for hummus, as only then possible to make tasty hummus.
Homemade hummus-Tahiti is free from the chemical used to preserve it, hence better for health.
Chickpea used here is the country type that means'Desi Channa.'Though small in size, they are tasty and nutritious.

Ingredients:

(for five persons.)

-for Tahiti.

  • 3 tbsp white sesame seeds.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil.
  • A pinch of salt.

-for hummus.

  • 1 cup boiled chickpeas
  • 4 - garlic cloves (avoid it for the Jain recipe
    ).
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt as required
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice

Method of the recipe of Tahiti with Hummus:

-Making a Tahiti.

  1. Roast the white sesame seeds on low flame.
  2. Make a paste in the grinder adding a pinch of salt.
  3. Then add one tbsp of olive oil and grind more to make a smoothie-like paste.
  4. Tahiti is ready to add in hummus later.

-making a hummus.

  1. Wash the chickpeas with two to three water and boil in the cooker on low flame after removing the skin.
  2. Let the cooker cool (meanwhile, you can prepare the Tahiti.)
  3. Mix all ingredients (salt, lemon juice, garlic, and tahiti.) in boiled chickpeas after straining out the water.
  4. Make a smoothie-like paste in a blender on an intermittent speed with adding olive oil gradually.

Fluffy Hummus with Tahiti is ready.
It is a companion dish for savory and fried items, pita bread, sandwiches, pizza, etc.
