 Quick Recipe Potato Cookies Refreshment Dish For Kids||

Here is the easy and quick recipe for Potato(Aaloo) Tikki, aka cookies for the school-going kids in the morning. Also suitable for evening refreshments, for guests. Here is the recipe.

Ingredients:

  • Four big crushed potatoes.
  • One finely chopped small onion.
  • Red chili powder-1/2tsp.
  • Black pepper powder-1/2 tsp.
  • Chat masala-1 tsp (For mixing with potato).
  • Chat masala-2 tsp (To sprinkle while serving the snacks).
  • Chopped green chili-2.
  • Coriander leaves-2 tsp(For garnishing).
  • Pulverized Poha flour-2 tbsp.
  • Rock Salt-1/2 tsp or as per taste.
  • Oil-2 tbsp.
  • Some water.

Method:

  1. Make a paste of the boiled potatoes by crushing.
  2. Add rock salt, black pepper powder, chopped green chilies, chat masala(1 tsp only), Red chili powder, and chopped onion; mix well.
  3. Add the pulverized Poha to the mixture of crushed potato, and knead by adding appropriate water to make a loaf.
  4. Take the lumps and make the cookie shape from the loaf.
  5. Fry the Tikkis, aka cookies, until it turned golden brown on both sides.
  6. Spread on the plate and sprinkle Chat masala, garnish with coriander leaves.
The quick refreshment dish for kids(and family, guests too) is ready. Enjoy with sauces.
